The latest addition to our experienced team is Holly Walker who joined us officially at the beginning of October. However, Holly isn’t new to Winster.
In 2020, Holly was registered with MET Recruitment, based in Dudley and when we were advised by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce to approach MET to find a temporary Warehouse Assembly Operative, they put Holly forward. We quickly noticed that she was very quick to learn the job and was keen to progress, taking on other tasks within the operations function.
Holly soon took on more workload helping out with warehouse and office support, embodying the values and behaviours that are The Winster Way. In turn, Holly’s commitment and professionalism has freed up the management team to spend more time with customers. We were delighted when she accepted the offer of a permanent contract.
Commenting on her new role, Holly said “I have really enjoyed my two years at Winster and it was an easy decision to become a permanent member of the team. I’m very grateful to MET Recruitment for giving me the initial opportunity to work at Winster.”
Matthew Hunter, Industrial Director at MET Recruitment said “Whilst our agency model is to get our people working for clients through us, it’s great to see them get permanent jobs. It means we are providing the right kind of staff to our clients and shows that working with the right recruitment partner can help fill a short term gap and find a long term solution. We wish Holly every success in her new role.”
“Holly quickly became a valued member of our team and we are really pleased she agreed to move to a permanent role” said Val Gardner, Managing Director of Winster Limited. “MET Recruitment did a great job finding her, and we are very grateful to Matthew and his team.”
